The Organising Committee of the 8th Australasian Soilborne Diseases Symposium (8ASDS) and the Australasian Plant Pathology Society (APPS) would like to extend an invitation to all with an interest in soilborne disease, soil microbial ecology and plant-microbe interactions to come to the 8ASDS, share their research and engage in topical discussion with other like-minded scientists. We welcome and highlight student presentations offering young scientists excellent opportunities to present and discuss their work.

This focussed symposium offers ample opportunities for discussion and networking, as well as the capacity to enjoy the delights of Hobart, a contemporary foodies and cultural paradise and a proud member of the Lonely Planets “top ten” tourist destinations.

We are confident you will enjoy the interactions with colleagues, acquaintances, Key Note and invited speakers during the scientific forums and networking opportunities scheduled during the program. We look forward to seeing you all in Hobart on 10th November 2014.
