Those working in the area of plant pathology or a related discipline can become Full Members. Those enrolled at a university in a full time program of study related to plant pathology can become Student Members. 

Member Benefits
Members receive online access to current and previous issues of our journals, Australasian Plant Pathology and Australasian Plant Disease Notes. In addition members will receive discount registration for our biennial conferences. Members of APPS are also associate members of the International Society for Plant Pathology and several other international associations.

Student members can also take advantage of our Student Bursary Scheme or Student Exchange Program.

Sustaining Members of APPS
Sustaining membership is offered to organisations and corporations who wish to support the society. Sustaining Membership of APPS is $250 per year (GST included). Alternatively, sustaining membership for 2 years can be gained by supporting APPS conferences with a sponsorship minimum of $3000. Sustaining members will have their logo displayed on the APPS home page.

Sustaining Members have the right to:

(a) be listed in journals published by the Society;
(b) receive a copy of those publications produced by the Society as determined by the Management Committee, including the Society Journal;
(c) have access to the newsletter;
(d) submit articles for publication in the newsletter and the Society Journal in accordance with current requirements applicable to Ordinary Members;
(e) advertise in the newsletter at the current advertising rates;
(f) place a display at the Biennial Conference according to the requirements of the convenors of the Biennial Conference;
(g) arrange an exhibit of its products and/or services at meetings of the Society under conditions to be determined by the Management Committee; and
(h) for corporate memberships, to nominate one representative to act on its behalf as an individual Member for the purpose of voting and exercising other privileges.
