Become a Member of APPS
Those working in the area of plant pathology or a related discipline can become Full Members. Those enrolled at a university in a full time
program of study related to plant pathology can become Student Members.
Each member of APPS is an associate
member of the
International Society for Plant
Pathology and will be included in the ISPP mailing list. Through the
International Society for Plant Pathology, APPS is a member of the
International Union of Biological Sciences
International Union of
Microbiological Societies (IUMS), in liaison with the
Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the
Council for Science.
Benefits of Membership
and student subscription members of APPS receive online access to current and
previous issues of Australasian Plant Pathology (APP). By paying a higher fee,
as detailed below, members can choose to receive a printed copy of APP. In
addition, all members will have access to APPS Job-vacancy
and newsletter alerts, discount registration for the biennial Australasian Plant
Pathology Conferences and APPS special interest meetings (Australasian Soilborne
Diseases Symposium and Australasian Plant Virology Workshop), local seminars and workshops (most free or
reduced to members) as well as access to the online journal,
Australasian Plant Disease Notes, and periodic emails about matters of
interest to plant pathologists.
